Beyond the Whistles provides trusted media, athlete storytelling, and educational content while maintaining strict boundaries between media, recruiting, and NIL. We believe swimming deserves professional-grade coverage without the noise, pressure, or pay-to-play models that have damaged trust in sports.
What We Do
Beyond the Whistles is home to a long-form podcast, written features, video interviews, and short-form media that highlight swimmers of all ages and ability levels. We feature athletes who are just starting their journey, those competing at the highest collegiate levels, and those who have represented their schools and teams on the national and international stage.
Episodes are pre-recorded to ensure thoughtful conversations, athlete comfort, and editorial quality. Special one-off episodes may be produced when appropriate, but our standard format prioritizes preparation, perspective, and professionalism.

That foundation matters. Swim Meet Pros understands the sport from the deck, the officials’ table, the timing console, and the stands. The same standards applied to our meets, fairness, professionalism, and respect for athletes, apply to our media.
Recruiting Integrity & Coach Access
Beyond the Whistles supports a recruiting ecosystem that is ethical, transparent, and athlete-first.
Athletes are never charged for exposure.
Families are never pressured into packages.
Recruiting access is subscription-based for coaches only.
College and high school(if allowed by their governing bodies) coaches may subscribe to access verified athlete content, interviews, and performance data across the Swim Meet Pros ecosystem. Media coverage and podcast participation never influence recruiting outcomes.
NIL Transparency
Beyond the Whistles complies fully with NIL regulations and best practices.
We do not broker NIL deals.
We do not receive NIL payments.
We do not act as an intermediary between athletes and institutions.
Any NIL opportunities discussed or referenced remain direct between colleges and athletes. Media participation is voluntary, uncompensated, and never tied to recruiting or financial benefit.
